How can I connect my DVD Player?

This depends on the type of DVD Player you have.

If you have an older DVD Player with just standard RCA (Red, White and Yellow) connections, you will need the TVGuardian Model 401.

If you have an Upconverting DVD Player with HDMI connections you can use the TVGuardian HD Model 501. These new DVD Players offer an improved picture and sound quality. They may be purchased from Walmart or Best Buy for as little as $40. These players may also have RCA (Red, White and Yellow) connections. In that case you can use the TVGuardian Model 401, but the picture and sound will not be in High Definition.

The TVGuardian LT will work with either HDMI or RCA DVD players as long as the models have a yellow composite cable output for the closed captioning.
